MARY ISOBEL WAY (nee Beresford) August 18, 1921 - June 9, 2008 On June 9, 2008 at the Concordia Hospital, our cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Way, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side. Mary was born to John and Elsie Beresford in Margaret, Manitoba. She had graduated from the Misericordia School of Nursing on October 1, 1945. In May 1946, Mary married Howard Way of Ninette, Manitoba. They moved to Winnipeg where they raised their family. Mary enjoyed curling, playing bridge, gardening, baking, knitting, crocheting, church seniors group and watching sports. Mary was predeceased by her husband Howard, in 1978, her eldest son Jim in 1999 and her brother Alex in 2007. She will be always loved and remembered by her children, Marlene (Andy) Kszywisko, Norma Way, Gordon (Linda) Way and Heather (Al) Alexandruk; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick), Christine (Rob), Janice (Todd), Lori (fiancé Mike), Jason (Alicia), Kimberly, Amber and Holly; her great-grandchildren, Darren, Rebecca, Charley, Hannah and Hayley; also her special daughter, Linda K. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff on the 3rd floor East, Concordia Hospital for their compassionate care of our dear mother. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Rev. Jeff Cook presiding. Interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery.
