Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) W. SEAVERS August 6, 1934 June 9, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jim Seavers. Jim leaves to cherish his memory his forever caring wife Catherine and four sons: Bryan (Laura), Doug, Ron (Vicky), and David; grandchildren: Jason, Lesley (Carl), Michael (Tina), Nadine, Jessie, and Travys; great- grandchildren: Bailey, Emily, Steven, Hailey, and Thomas; brother Henry (Sarah), sister Betty (Bob) Duncan, and many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents Laura and Ted, sisters Marge and Barbara. Born in Cypress River, Jim grew up and worked on the family farm moving to Winnipeg in 1961. Jim began working for Winnipeg Hydro, marrying Catherine, the love of his life in 1962. Jim was a hard worker, handyman and jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, teaching them and working together, often fixing up cars. He will be lovingly remembered. Many thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre G4 for all their compassion and care to Jim and Catherine. A come and go gathering and remembrance of his life will take place Saturday, June 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg R3E 0V9.
