ELEANOR ANNE MCNAUGHTON (nee HANSEN) It is with deep regrets we announce the sudden death of Eleanor on Friday, June 6, 2008 at home in Winnipeg at the age of 80 years, wife of beloved husband James (Jim) McNaughton and daughter of the late Christian and Ella Hansen. Remaining to forever cherish Eleanor's memory are her husband James (Jim) McNaughton; brother Fred (Pat) of Montreal; nephews Jack (Chris) of Ottawa, Fred and niece Cathy Hansen of Toronto; great-nephew David; niece Corinne (Ken) Atkinson and great-nieces Kerri (Kelly) Hemmett, Kim (Kevin) Duguid and families of Winnipeg; nieces Joy (Jim) Wilkinson, Sandra (Brian) Sampson; sister-in-law Agnes of Alberta; as well as numerous relatives and friends and special neighbours Bruce, Kelly and family. Eleanor loved working in her garden. In summer she enjoyed planting and transplanting. She also enjoyed flowers and plants in her home. She loved animals especially her little dogs. A private family service was held at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. Donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or a charity of your choice.
