Mom will be sadly missed by her husband of 65 years of marriage, William (Bill); sons Raymond (Erma) of Brunkild, MB, William (Yvonne) of Bashaw, AB, David (Ana) of LaSalle MB; sister Ruth Publicover of Kingston, Ontario; her precious grandchildren Sherry-Lynne (Mark), Julie-Anna (Eddie), Philip (Kelsey), Jay (Kerri), Timothy (Kathy), Adam, Melissa (Craig), Nicole; and five great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Alice Hanna of Brunkild, MB; and brother-in-law Lawrence Grabowsky of Beausejour, MB. She was predeceased by her son Charles; maternal parents Fred and Mabel Eberle; brother Raymond; paternal parents Charles and Lena Grabowsky and stepmother Lydia Grabowsky (Woitt). Born on August 14, 1925 in Toronto, Ontario, Mom spent her early years in Pine Grove and Woodbridge, Ontario. Mom and Dad married on March 13, 1943 and during the war years lived in Ontario for a short period of time. They later moved to Brunkild, MB where they farmed and raised their four sons. The family moved to Fort Garry and later moved to a rural acreage in La Broquerie. They later retired to St. Vital in Winnipeg. Mom loved her precious sons and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a kind, caring, generous and hard working soul who always favoured the less fortunate. Mom loved to cook and knit and meet with her special friends recalling many childhood memories which she shared with her family. She loved to keep busy when able, and always tried to be caring and honest and to be there for others. Her memories will always be with us. Mom's graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Brunkild, MB, one mile south and a half mile east of Brunkild, with Pastor Leslie Poulin, presider. Following the service, a gathering of family and friends will be held in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brunkild for lunch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. We will always love you, Mom, Grandma
