CLARICE MARGARET DORAN (nee WRIGHT) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clarice Doran on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the age of 78. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Martyn (Jeannette), granddaughter Liz, great-grandson Luc, great-granddaughter Kayla, her sister Elaine (Ken) Hooper, her brothers Bill (Val), Lawrence (Lil) and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as very special friends. Clarice was predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob), her daughter Claire and her twin brother Charles whom she felt connected to all her life even though he passed away as an infant. Clarice was born in England and moved to Winnipeg with her family in 1958. She was a very talented lady. She was an accomplished milliner, painter, writer and wood carver, whatever task she set her mind to do she became very proficient at very quickly. Her honesty, loyalty and genuine caring made her the remarkable woman she became to so many people. The family would like to thank Dr. Mallick, Dr. Joshua and the nurses in the ICU at Grace Hospital who were so very kind and caring. A celebration of Clarice's life will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy. Interment will take place at a later date.
