Luise was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1989, her sister-in-law Helen Neufeld in 2000, and numerous siblings in Germany. She will always be loved and remembered by best friend and companion Fred Zaeh; daughter Marlise Forsyth (Paul) and their children Lisa (Steven), Blake (Brianne), and Mark (Pam); son Peter (Judi); and son Victor and his children Kelli and Eric, and their mother Karen; siblings: Rudi (Freida) Wilms and Maria Rempel (all in BC), and Gerhard (Ushi) Wilms and Rosalinde (Peter) Gall (all in Germany); her Tuesday evening Domino group; the staff at Birds Hill Park where she walked daily; and her many close friends and relatives. Luise was born in Recklinghausen, Germany. She came to Winnipeg in 1948, where she met and married Peter. She worked at the Red Cross prior to having a family, and again in later years, until her retirement. She enjoyed her life and raising the family on Alverstone Street. As the house emptied, she moved into her condominium on Henderson Hwy. where she lived and loved life, until she had to go to the hospital. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff of 3West at Concordia Hospital, for their compassionate care.
