Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID LEWIS MURRAY November 27, 1920 - June 15, 2008 Peacefully, Dave passed away in his sleep on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Vista Park Lodge, Winnipeg, MB. Dave is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Murray, his sisters-in-law Beatrice Caldwell and Alice Manning. Dad is also survived by his son Gary Murray (Gwen), grandchildren Trisha, Devon, Kelly, Matthew, great-grandchildren Rylie, Zachery and Brody, daughter Susan Heidebrecht (Claus), and grandson Christopher. Also leaving numerous nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing. Dave lived a full and interesting life, including service to his country during the Second World War, working the gold mines in Northern Manitoba, and many years spent with International Harvester. He and Norma also worked overseas with C.I.D.A. on a farming project in Tanzania, Africa. Dave loved his children, family, a good curling match and attending Christopher's hockey games. He has earned the love, admiration and respect of his family and friends. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff of Vista Park Lodge for their outstanding care and compassion, which has been greatly appreciated. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A private interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in Dad's memory can be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
