MANUEL (AMERICANA) DESOUSA We sadly announce the passing of Manuel DeSousa with his family by his side. Manuel leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years Alice, his children Joe, Paulo, Margarida (Leni), Delia (Donny). He also leaves his seven grandchildren. He was born in Saint Miguel, Azores, Portugal and came to Canada in 1972. Manuel loved fishing and soccer. The family would like to thank Dr. Haresha and the staff of the Palliative Care and Winnipeg Regional Health Authority for all their loving care. The family would also like to thank Shawn and Darin and the staff of Mosaic for the care given to our family. Donations in honor of Manuel may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. A Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Service will follow at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Assumption Cemetery.
