GARRY WILLIAM HARDING It is with deep sadness that the family announces the tragic loss of Garry William Harding, aged 37 years. Garry leaves to mourn his passing his beloved partner, best friend, and childhood sweetheart, Jennifer; his brother Ron (Diane); parents-in-law, June and Alan Curtis; sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Joe; and his niece whom he adored, Lexie Bean . Garry was predeceased by his father, Philip Ross, and just recently by his mother, Verley. Garry had a large circle of friends, neighbours, and co-workers who will all miss him greatly. Although Garry lived in Winnipeg, his heart remained on the avenue in his hometown of Lockport. In his too short life, Garry enjoyed playing football for the Lockport Cowboys, fishing and boating with his furry friend Cleo, spending time at the lake and just being with friends, in particular Larry and Dean. Garry had a passion for cars and painting and there was not a thing that he could not fix. At the time of his passing, he was enjoying his work for the HVAC program at Health Sciences Centre. Anyone who met Garry was touched by his smile, sense of humour and gentle spirit. He was a kind, giving man who lived in the moment and always went out of his way to help. It was Garry who opened the door for others, cleared many a snowy sidewalk in the neighbourhood and stopped by the roadside to help those in need. To know him was a gift and his untimely death leaves a great void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing half hour prior to in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Stephen Sharman officiating. Interment will take place at the St. Andrew's on the Red churchyard cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish, a donation may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, a charity that reflects Garry's love of animals. Garry donated his corneas so that others could see the world through his eyes. I love you B, always and forever. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
