ROSE TWERDEN It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Rose Twerden, of Shoal Lake on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg, at the age of 86 years. Rose is survived by her son Dave (Phyllis) Twerden of Lac du Bonnet, daughter Joyce Drul of Winnipeg, sister Ann (Jerry) Matiation of Brandon, six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Shoal Lake with interment following in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said from the church Friday, June 20, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Michael Kwiatkowski and Rev. Deacon Leon Twerdun will officiate. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 9Z9. Remembrances and condolences may be emailed to raesfs@mts.net The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre and St. Boniface Hospital for their loving care.
