ANNETTE CARRIERE (nee BRUCE) December 31, 1927 - June 19, 2008 It is with great sorrow that the family of Annette Carriere announce her passing on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Clarina and son Michael. Annette leaves to mourn, her beloved husband of 53 years, Andre Jr.; children, Linda (Brian) Wyrzykowski, Marcel (Lisa) Carriere, Suzanne (Terry) Allain, Leo (Ivanka) Carriere; daughter-in-law Angie Carriere; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Annette worked at the St. Amant Centre for 27 years where she enjoyed doing what she loved to do; baking and cooking for others, she will always be remembered for her delicious meat pies and buns. Annette also had an unforgettable laughter and smile. She was strongly devoted to prayer and the Blessed Mother Mary for she enjoyed the company of her (little angels), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at St. Emile's, 556 St. Anne's Road with a viewing half an hour prior to the service and with Father Rene Peeters officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Church Hall. Interment will take place at a later date at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
