Born and raised in R.M. Tulleymet, Sask. married Herbert Clarence Perkins October 1937. Moved to Balcarres, Sask. in 1958. Moved to Winnipeg, MB in 1999 where she lived till passing. She will always be remembered for her strength, her unconditional love, and her contagious smile. She was a strong loving person whose door was always open to everyone and anyone. Just like the quilts she spent endless time and care to make, gave everyone who has received one endless amounts of warmth and comfort. There are many things to remember Mary by. She was always happy, extremely witty and comical. The many socks tied together, the many shoes tied to trees and the many patches sewed to mend what was torn or tattered. She was extremely devoted to her family till the day of passing. She was a devoted and compassionate member to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The many Sisters and Elders who have crossed her path know her as a compassionate and loving person whose heart never judged or held a grudge to anyone. She will be missed but always remembered because in a way she was an angel and now she's free to fly, dance and sing with no more pain. We will always love and remember this amazing woman who touched us all so much. Family would like to thank the Winnipeg Police, fire, paramedic, medical examiners departments for there love and compassion in our time of need. A special thanks to Neil Bardal Funeral home for there help in our time of need. Interment will be at a later date in Balcarres, Sask. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
