ROBERT STUART HINDS A kind and gentle man has died. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Hinds, age 70, on Wednesday, June 18 at Dartmouth General Hospital. Known as Bob to friends, he was doting husband to Beverly and proud father of Holly and Kerry. Born in Winnipeg he was the son of the late Arthur Hinds and Marguerite Rodier and is survived by brother, Brian (Irene) Hinds, and best friend, Gary Brown, all of Winnipeg. Retiring after a life long career at Ford Motor Company in Winnipeg and Halifax, he enjoyed his retirement in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Nokomis, Florida, Ponemah, Manitoba and Cable Head, Prince Edward Island. He treasured the valuable friendships he made along the way. For Bob, his most important role was that of husband, father and friend. We will always cherish his unconditional love and support, his sense of humor and his wise council throughout our lives. We will deeply miss the arm around our shoulders, the kisses, and the warm hugs when we needed it. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth. As requested by the family, there will be no visitation. A funeral mass to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23 at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church, 16 Gaston Road, Dartmouth. Father John Mills will officiate with Father Robert Floyd as concelebrant. A reception in the church hall will follow. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Dartmouth General Hospital or Charity of your Choice. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith 2 Timothy 4:7
