HELEN DEHOD (nee CRAIG) Helen, widow of Frank Dehod, passed away very peacefully in the evening of Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the home of her granddaughter, Shannon Wiebe. At Helens' bedside with Shannon, was her daughter Jordyn; granddaughter Laurie Carpenter and her son Zach and Helen's daughter Fran Moore (Lionel). Helen is also survived by another daughter, Tanis Whitwell (Doug) of Calgary, and their children; granddaughters, Leah, Marcy, Erin, Brooke and the great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her grandson, Fran and Lionel's son, Dean. Helen, who was 88, had moved back to Winnipeg last year, after living 40 years in BC, where she enjoyed a very special relationship with her nephew Greg Lieberman and his wife Nancy of Ladner, BC. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface Hospital Emergency Department and Medical staff for their outstanding compassion and care over the past year, with a special thanks to Dr. Glen Drobot for personally overseeing Helen's medical needs, while in hospital as well as at home.
