Brian leaves to grieve Shannon Marek and their beloved daughter Samantha, his mother Elaine Kaglik and stepfather Herbert, his father Gerald Huston and stepmother Carol, his sister Jordon (Todd), his brothers Doug (Rena) and Jason (Darlene). Brian also leaves behind many other Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Brian was predeceased by grandparents Mini and Clinton Huston. Brian is survived by his grandmother Margaret Harrison. Brian was born and raised in Winnipeg where he attended High School at Kildonan East. His greatest love was his precious daughter Samantha and he cherished all of the moments he spent with her. She was, and always will be Daddy's little princess. Brian had an unrelenting passion for fishing and the outdoors. He spent many hours on the Red River and surrounding lakes and tributaries with his brother Doug and close friends. Most recently he would share his favorite fishing spots with his daughter Samantha. Brian was always looking forward to his next opportunity to go fishing. He would often start planning his next trip before even getting back from the trip he was on. Brian also had a great love for cars and anything mechanical. Brian had an amazing talent for repairing things. He would often help anyone with whatever it was that was broken to get it working properly again. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Cardiac Intensive Care unit and the St Pauls Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit in Vancouver, BC for their great efforts and compassionate care. A very special thanks to Doctor Freed (St. Boniface Hospital) and Dr Chung (St. Pauls Hospital). Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Brian, you left us far too soon. Words can not express how deeply you will be missed.
