ETHEL JOHNSON Ethel Johnson, beloved wife of the late Douglas Johnson, passed away at her residence at The Sherwood Home in Virden, Manitoba on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Ethel was predeceased by her parents: Frank and Lucy Gardham, her husband Douglas in 1998 and son Richard in 1969. She was also predeceased by her sister Enid and brother George. Ethel is survived by her son Frank and his wife Shirley and their children Jen (Trevor), Joanne (Todd) and Greg (Pam) and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Betty and her brother Harry (Thelma) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden on Wednesday; June 25 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Iain Elliott officiating. A time of viewing and visitation will be held at the Chapel prior to the service.
