Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL CHARLES ELKOW September 4, 1935 - June 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a father, brother, uncle and friend. Mike was born and raised in Selkirk with later moving to Winnipeg. Along with golfing and bowling, Mike had a passion for curling and was a longtime member at the Nicolette Curling Club. He was predeceased by his loving wife Joan (Rebeck) in 1984, they had been married August 16, 1958. Is loved and survived by his two children Scott, Leanne (Jason), his sister Doreen Galonski, brothers Walter and Laurence Johnny as well as numerous nephews, nieces and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all of us. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
