COLLEEN MARGARET HICKS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Hicks, aged 60 years, of Selkirk, on June 22, 2008 at the Selkirk District General Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her children Tammy (Walter Jr.), Lori (Adam), Jeffrey (Rhonda), and Cory; her grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Jonathan, Brooklyn, Jacob, Emily and Devon; her father Gerald Hicks; brothers Pat (Kathy) and Darrell; sister Debbie and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Shirley, stepfather Richard Funk and loving companion of six years, Harold Sedo. Colleen was born in Winnipeg on June 4, 1948 and had lived there as well as Teulon and Fraserwood and for the past 10 years in Selkirk. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren she loved them all very much. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare or the Diabetes Foundation. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Selkirk General Hospital.
