Rose is survived by her brother John Ammeter, sisters Mina (Douglas) Johnson and Edith (Donald) Besant and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Emma, brothers Adolf and Ernst, sisters Mary, Hulda, Anna, Bertha, Alice and Martha. Rose was born on December 21, 1914 in Karabulach, a town in the republic of Georgia. She immigrated to Canada in 1929 and with her family, settled in Starbuck, Manitoba. She received her high school matriculation at Starbuck School but because of serious illness was unable to pursue further education. She was a devout and faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Her faith and love of life sustained her through many illnesses. She won many awards at the Carman Fair for her handicraft exhibits. Viewing will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
