Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED JOHN FADUN January 5, 1930 - June 24, 2008 Peacefully on June 24, 2008 Fred passed away at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife Shirley, two sons, Gordon (Ruth) and Jim (Linda), grandchildren Charity, Serena (Calvin), Rachelle (Ben), Boaz, Chris and Amanda and great-grandchildren Truson, Desiree and Jenalle. Fred was born at McMunn, MB and moved to Winnipeg as a young boy where he lived his entire life. Fred worked at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for over 40 years and retired at the age of 55. He enjoyed his family, his home and fishing. Funeral service is to be held at Thomson In the Park , 1291 McGillivray Blvd. on June 27 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.. I worked with Fred for 12 years at Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, between 1974 and 1986. He was a wonderful man, always fun to be around. I always remember him saying he was going fishing at McMunn when he had the time. I don't remember if he had a brother there, but that's my recollection. Both Fred and Shirley were so good to me growing up. I especially remembering your dad's wonderful laugh. In my early years there was a little record player at your house and we used to sing" little yellow duck swimming in the water". I don't know who had more fun me or your parents with that.you had wonderful parents and I hope those good memories of Hethrington ave stay with you as they do with the Siwik family.
