Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAE GENEVRA RUTLEDGE The youngest daughter of Rev. Richard Rutledge and Mary (Brown) Rutledge passed away on 27 October 2007 at the Grace Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, three sisters - Wilma Rutledge, Georgina Sewell and Elmenia Mollard, her brother William and her nephew Robert Rutledge and niece Anne Rutledge. Survived by six nephews and nieces of whom she was very fond. They are Trevor, Donald and Harley Sewell, Joyce (Sewell) Herrick, Barbara (Sewell) Towarnicky and Richard Rutledge. Rae was born January 14, 1918 in Winnipeg. The family moved to North Dakota in 1929 where they lived until 1936. After completing courses at Success Business College, she was employed first with the Red Cross and then CPR (5AOS). From 1957 she taught Business Courses at Tec Voc and retired from there after 22 years. In retirement she was involved with the St. James Horticultural Society and the Scandinavian Centre, she enjoyed reading and painting until the year 2000 when she became legally blind. A private family service is to be held ay Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, July 4, 2008 with Rev. J. Jarvis of Westminster Church presiding.
