CONSTANCE HICOCK Peacefully on June 26, 2008 after a lengthy illness, Constance Hicock (Liddle) passed away at Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 79 years. Connie was predeceased by her husband Norris in 2000, her parents William and Christina and her brothers, Cameron and Doug. She is survived by her three sons, Larry (Irene), Bill (Jo-Anne) and Garry (Theresa); grandchildren, Reagan, Erin, Delaney, Christine (Jason), Jay, Ryan and MacKenzie; great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Justice and Hailey; sister Pat and husband John Wilson; brother-in-law Rueben and his wife Anita and many nieces and nephews. Connie was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She spent most of her life in a 10-block radius in Elmwood cultivating many lifelong friendships. Prior to her illness, she had moved to Granite House on Henderson Highway and was enjoying many new friendships she was developing. The biggest part of Connie's life was her family and the love and support was evident to the end. The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their kindness throughout her illness. A special thanks to Troy, Maren and Rummel for taking such good care of mom. Memorial service will be held Monday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, Connie's wish was that donations in her name be made to the MS Society of Manitoba.
