Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAVINA ANNE GREEN (EMMS) (nee QUIGLEY) After complications from a recent fall and with her family at her side, Lavina Anne Green (Emms) passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB on Wednesday June 25, 2008. Surviving Lavina are her brothers, Roy (LuLu), Leonard (Priscilla) and sister Mary. She will be greatly missed and remembered by her children, Gerald (Kathy), Norman (Denise), Debbie (Glenn) Crave, Russel (Richard), Shelley (Garry) Jundt; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Marie Virginie Quigley and her husband of 49 years Edward Gerald Green. Also her brothers, Manly, Francis, Patrick, Norman, Berth, and sister Lucy. Lavina was born and raised in the Sandridge, St Laurent municipality on May 11, 1927. She was married and lived most of her life in Lundar. Lavina's interests were varied and many, but raising her family was her main love. We wish to thank Patsy, Helen and all the lovely home care girls, whom she enjoyed, also the LIFE program in Ashern. Thank you to all of her phone buddies and you know who you all are. We especially wish to thank Shelley for all the countless hours of special care she gave mom over the many past years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oak Point Community Hall, Oak Point, MB. Lunch will be served after the service. Cremation has taken place. A private family internment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LIFE Program in Ashern, MB. Mackenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
