Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAARTEN DE KLUYVER Maarten de Kluyver passed away peacefully in Calgary AB, on June 25, 2008. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years Anita; his three sons, Mark (Leanne) of Winnipeg, Larry (Marla) of Calgary, Allan (Kim) of Calgary, and nine grandchildren. Maarten is also survived by five siblings, John (Sue), Wies (Bill), Cor (Shauna), Ria (Hans), and Pat (John). He is predeceased by his parents, one brother, and infant son Richard. Maarten was born on February 28, 1932 in Bielen, Netherlands. He immigrated to Canada in 1952 and settled in Winnipeg. He was employed with Winnipeg Transit for 32 years, and then 10 years with Seven Oaks School Division. He and Anita moved to Calgary in 2000. He was a loving husband, father and Opa/Grandpa. Funeral service will be held at Centre Street Church in Calgary on July 3, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons International, 501 Imperial Road North, P.O.
