Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA CHRISTIANE BOURRIER 1968 - 2008 Peacefully, with her family at her side, Linda Bourrier, passed away on June 29, 2008 at the young age of 40, after a lengthy battle with MS. She leaves behind a legacy of inner strength, love, generosity, and a strong devotion to family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered for her constant positive outlook and wonderful sense of humour. Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, René and Estelle Bourrier; her brother, Rheal (Lynne) Bourrier; three uncles, André (Christiane) Bourrier, Donald (Muriel) Bourrier, Norman (Lili) Bourrier; two aunts, Paulette (Denis) Vincent, Juliette (Marcel) Beernaerts; grandmother, Thérèse Bourrier and great-uncle, Henri Gaboriaud. Linda was born in Swan Lake Manitoba on April 3, 1968. Shortly after her birth, Linda and her family moved to Winnipeg and eventually settled in Windsor Park. She graduated from Collège LouisRiel and finished her post secondary education at Collège St. Boniface. Linda always enjoyed a challenge and approached life with passion, perseverance and dedication. She took a great deal of satisfaction in working for many government agencies over the years. Linda enjoyed the finer things in life; she loved to travel, listen to music, meet new people, spend time with friends and family and always had a soft spot in her heart for animals. Her strength and courage has been an inspiration to all who knew her. Linda you are forever in our hearts. The family wishes to thank Lil, Suzette and all the staff at River Park Gardens, who lovingly cared for Linda during her illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodière Blvd. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
