They were married in Dominion City, MB where they settled down and raised their family. Mary worked for Homecare for 30 years; she was always caring for others. To her it was much more than a job; her clients were her friends and neighbors. Mary's passions were her grandchildren, gardening, quilting, cooking, animals, and travel. She traveled the world to places like Australia, Iceland, Spain, Cuba and Mexico. Mary valued education and encouraged her children and grandchildren to continue their education. The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Home Care, Services to Seniors, Morris Hospital and all the Special Angels for all the care, love and support given to mom and our family during this difficult time. I was one and a half when she died. To this day I wish I could have met her. Even though she is not here, I still love her. Same with my grandpa Alfred. - Posted by: Stardessa Sawatzky (She was my grandma ) on: Dec 02, 2018
