Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ROHULYCH 1918 - 2008 It is with sadness that the family of John Rohulych announces his passing at the age of 89. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Ewonchuk) in 1982, his brothers and sisters in Ukraine, and his in-laws in Canada. John leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children George (Adele) Rohulych and Julie Payjack; grandchildren Andrew and Matthew Rohulych, Karen, Laura, Marnie, Craig, Neil and Lainie Payjack. He also leaves behind numerous caring nieces, nephews, and other family members. Dad was born in Uzhorod, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1949. In 1950, he met and married our Mom, Mary Ewonchuk and they shared 32 years of love and happiness. Dad missed Mom every day since she passed. He was a kind and gentle man who cherished every moment of time with his children and grandchildren. He was happiest when the family gathered together. We always knew how deeply Dad cared for and treasured each one of us. We were blessed to have a Dad that always expressed unconditional love. We will miss him deeply. The family would like to thank the medical staff at the Grace Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for taking care of Dad. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Rosa, MB with Rev. Doug LeClair officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rosa MB, CancerCare Manitoba, or Health Sciences Centre Foundation Inc.
