Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEVIN LAVOIE It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that the families of Kevin James Henry Lavoie announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. On July 5, 1988 Kevin was born in Beausejour, Manitoba he was raised in Winnipeg attending Kildonan East Collegiate. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Kyle and Kurtis, Grandmothers Margaret Lavoie and Judith Protosavage, Grandfather Arnold Small, Godparents Norman and Auntie Sylvia and many uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends. Kevin was predeceased by his parents Rhonda and Roy Lavoie. Kevin had spent his last year meeting and being reunited with a world of family that he was amazed with the size of. Kevin touched many people with his true devoted friendship, and caring ways. Kevin spent his last weekend with his Gramma Lavoie visiting, preparing and planning his 20th birthday party with his family and friends at her house, something he was truly looking forward to. Kevin worked in a few different fields but his main interest was woodworking and construction, learning beside Uncle Todd, and just hours before his passing he was planning the next projects he and Kyle would tackle in their home. Kevin loved to spend endless hours with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, concert going and entertaining as much as possible. The night had no end as long as there were friends. Also feeling the loss are close friends Bubbles, Jordan, Jeremiah, Chris, Kyle, friend/roommate Nikki and too many more to mention but not forgotten. In previous years he liked to play the keyboard and had plans to spark that interest again. In a life with great losses Kevin sure made the best of his situations taking care and guiding Kyle from his experiences as best he could while being roommates in the family home. A memorial service will be held at Sherwood Park Lutheran Church, 7 Tudor Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Friday, July 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Lurvey officiating. Donation's in Kevin's memory may be made to Teen Challenge, 414 Edmonton Street, R3B 2M2. NEIL BARDAL INC. 204-949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
