LORI MAY (KOSTELNIAK) BLIGHT On Monday morning of June 30, Lori bid her last good bye to her three boys; her husband Stephen of 15 years, and her young sons Jordan and Jared after a year and half struggle with breast cancer. Lori grew up in Transcona graduating from Transcona Collegiate before moving on to Red River College where she graduated with a degree in Computer Sciences. She started her career at Investors Syndicate making many friends in the span of 20 years and eventually meeting the love of her life Stephen who she married one year later. They started their married life on Leighton Avenue in East Kildonan and built their dream home together at St. Andrews on the Red. Lori was a people person who loved traveling, she traveled extensively before her marriage to Stephen. She and Aunt Margie traveled France, Norway, England, Greece, Morocco, New Zealand, always making new friends along the way. As a kid she spent summer weekends at her Aunt Olga's farm with cousin Daryl. She loved fishing and camping with Dad and Uncle Dennis at Rocky Lake. She loved music and dancing and tried her hand at the accordion. Lori also enjoyed gardening, baseball and bowling. But maybe most of all she loved to shop, spending nearly every Saturday morning with her Mom at the mall. Family was very important to her and she tried to instill that into her two sons. She loved the community she lived in, and was involved with setting up Learn to Play Baseball, and also took part in St. Andrews School Parent Advisory Council. She was also involved with Rossdale Ukrainian Dance, and the 1st St. Andrews on the Red Scouts.
