RAY ZILLMAN Peacefully on July 3, 2008 with his beloved wife Vera by his side, Ray passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Besides his loving wife, Ray will be sadly missed by his son Kim (Orma), daughters Sherry (Tim) and Brenda (Kevin), step-son Dale (Diane), grandchildren Stanley, Billy, Sherri, Cody, Michael, Shane and Conner. Ray was predeceased by his parents Ewald and Elsie, brothers Edward Zillman and Albert Zillman. Ray was born in Winnipeg and moved to Teulon for 17 years, then joined the Navy for 1½ years. He served 33 years on the Winnipeg Fire Dept from 1957 1990. He took great delight in flying his plane going fishing and hunting. He will be missed by all of his comrades at the Winnipeg Fire Dept., friends and family. Special thanks to Dr. Dalling and the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th Floor, Unit 6. A Celebration of Ray's Life will be held on Monday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Cremation to follow.
