EUGENE REXER 1940- 2008 Eugene Rexer was born in 1940 in Germany. He emigrated to Canada at the age of 18. Rex leaves to mourn his beloved wife Hanna, two sons, Ronald and Robert, and eight grandchildren. He passed away at Concordia Hospital on June 21, 2008, surrounded by his family members. He was 67 years of age. Rex, as he was known to by his many friends, was a qualified diesel mechanic. He drove commercial trucks for many years, until he purchased R.W. Baskerville Ltd. He drove North, South, East and West, and had many great stories to tell. On his retirement in 2001, he was known as Mr. Fixit to his many friends. Rex could fix anything. Some people called him a genius . Rex started out being a diesel mechanic, and he became a business man, who was well respected by all who knew him. He was an active member of the Shriners. He will be greatly missed. There will be no service. Donations may be made the the Shriners Children's Hospital, 1155 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3P 1B9.
