Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENI (HELEN) WARKENTIN (nee BRAUN) Peacefully at home on July 3, 2008 surrounded by family and friends Leni passed away at the age of 70 years. Leni will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 50 years, Jake; children, Dick (Jacqueline), Janet , Rod (Diane); her grand-children, Ryan, Aaron, Jarrod, Jay, Nick, Sasha, Devon and her great-grandchild Jacob. She will also be missed by her sister Adina, her brother Peter (Betty) and sister-in-law Elsa. Mom was a very loving and caring person. Her greatest love was that of her family. Her thoughtfulness, unselfish giving to the help of others will not be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us here on earth she will live on in our hearts and in the lessons for living life that she taught us. The family would like to thank everyone who helped with the care of Mom in her last days. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay. Interment will be at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leni's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

I had the pleasure of meeting Leni and working with her at Bethania. Leni was truly one of the kindest, most decent people I have EVER had the pleasure of knowing.
