LOIS ANN CHAMBERLAIN Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Lois Chamberlain passed away July 2, 2008 at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn, husband Ron of 49 years, daughters Jennifer (Doug) Ryan, Margaret (Jacques) Dyck, Charlene (Charles) VandenAkker and Christine (Merle) Borowski, sister Catherine and brother John, grand-children Amanda-Lee, Jason, Tristan, Helena, Marina, Colin and Leanna, and great-grandson Joshua, as well as step-grandchildren Douglas, Jeffrey and Cherie and cat Ginger. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Catherine Vincent and brother Ronnie. Mom was an active teen. She was president of Charleswood High School council, a baton majorette, silver medal winner in Royal Conservatory of Music exams for violin, International Order of Job's Daughters Bethel 1 charter member, and Honoured Queen of Bethel 3. She remained active in Jobie's with Bethel 2 and Grand Council, getting her four daughters involved in the organization as well. She married dad March 14, 1959. They ran Dugald General Store for 10 years. She enjoyed traveling, time at the lake with family and just plain socializing with everyone she met. Her colourful personality and love of life shone through her glowing smile, which she gave freely to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank home care staff, Angela, Ampora, Rosemary, Glenda, Bev, Rachelle, Barbara and Jenny. Also neighbours Boon and E. J. for their compassion. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held Monday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. A journal will be available to share your favourite memories. Until Then We've shared our lives these many years. You've held my hand; you've held my heart. So many blessings, so few tears - Yet for a moment, we must part. The memories you've given me, are times I've shared with my best friend I'll hold them, Love. Right here they'll be Until we share our lives again. -T.C. Ring
