LYNN MCCUTCHEON (nee ANDERSON) It is with great sadness that Lynn's family announces her untimely passing on July 4, 2008 after a brief illness. Lynn was born on March 16, 1948 to Joseph and Natalie Anderson of Montreal. She is survived by her mother; her daughters, Lisa (Carlo Difellice) and Colleen both of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Emily, Jayden and Olivia; her sister Donna Dandy; brother-in-law Leslie Dandy, numerous cousins and her extended family in the Ottawa area. Lynn came to Manitoba in 1994 and lived in Winnipeg and Dauphin. For the last six years Lynn worked for the United Way of Winnipeg where she earned the respect, love and admiration of her colleagues and numerous volunteers. She embraced her community volunteering for numerous causes and was a regular visitor to the Children's Hospital Eating Disorders Clinic where she helped children and families coping with this difficult issue. Lynn loved nature, cooking and enjoying the company of friends. She showed kindness to everyone she met. In accordance with Lynn's wishes cremation has taken place. A reception in honor of Lynn's life and her contributions to our community will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the home of Barbara and John Myers, 17 Harvard Avenue in Crescentwood. In lieu of flowers donations in Lynn's name can be made to support Breast Cancer Research.
