CLARENCE ROSS May 17, 1966 July 4, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Clarence Ross, on July 4, 2008 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 42 years. Clarence lived in Vancouver, BC for the past 23 years. He worked for CP Rail on the tracks, BC Gas and he also went to school during his time there. He became sick eight years ago and he wanted to come home because he was tired and lonely. Clarence had a little dog named Teddy Winkerbeans who kept him company. Clarence loved gospel music, reading the Bible, cooking, gardening and flowers. Clarence is survived by his mother, Maggie; sisters, Marlene Marsden and Eva Beardy (David); brothers, Wilfred Ross, Samuel Ross and Clifford Ross (Tonya); nephews, Jared, Farrell, Jordan, Sean, Darnell, Kevin, Dillon and Stewart; nieces, Sheila and Miranda; special uncles, Marshall Ross and David Ross; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Clarence was predeceased by his father, Wally Ross; sister Elva Anderson; brothers, Raymond Ross and Lambert Ross; nephew, Stewart James Marsden and niece Delores Marsden. A wake service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Lake St. Martin Pentecostal Church, Lake St. Martin, Manitoba with Jim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Lake St. Martin Cemetery. The family would like to thank St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, Dr. Susan Actland and nursing staff, Seven Oaks Hospital for their care.
