Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN MACLEAN MACAULAY On July 4, 2008, with family at his side, John aged 66 years, passed away after a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his wife Lynne of 44 years; three children, Don, Terri (Todd) Fisette, and Jay, and four grandchildren, Michael, Madison, Sheridan, and Jenna. John was born on June 30, 1942 in Edmonton and lived in Winnipeg for most of his life. A character to many, John will be remembered as a hard working man who enjoyed boating, hunting, sports, and classic cars. His fondest memories were of summers in Lake of the Woods, watching his sons play hockey, and hunting with his golden retriever, Andy. Special thanks to doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital ICU for their care during this trying time. Respecting dad's wishes, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Canadian Lung Association. Rest in Peace

He taught me how to dive off of a boat on the Red River (it was either dive or get tackled ! He was a great big bear who let a bunch of girls think they could drive a boat! We wish I had known him as an adult - he and Lynn had a lot of fun laughing at how stupid we were with their daughter, Terry - love...the McDougall twins!) - Posted by: Barb McDougall (Family) on: Jul 10, 2008
