LETENDRE January 2, 1936 - July 3, 2008 Peacefully, on July 3, 2008, with his family at his side, Paul Letendre aged 72 years of Fairford First Nation, passed away at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB. He was predeceased by his parents Rupert and Susan (Clare) Letendre. He leaves to mourn his brother Clare; sister Rosalie (Hank) Levasseur; his daughter Renee Vincent; his nephew Clare (Jen) Dickinson; children, Miranda, Tyler and Tanner and extended family in Fairford First Nation. Paul was a chef and travelled widely across the Arctic working in Resolute Bay and the DEW Line sites. Upon retiring Paul moved back to Pinaymootang First Nation, Fairford, MB and lived there until his passing. We thank our family in Fairford for welcoming Paul back with open arms and for their loving care in his final days. We are grateful for the care given to Paul by the staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital. We are happy that Paul is at peace and we will retain many precious memories of him. Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the St. Helen's Anglican Church in Fairford, MB with Father Ron McCullough officiating.
