Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD (DON) MORROW Donald (Don) Morrow passed peacefully on the evening of Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. Don is survived by his loving wife Leona of 43 years; daughter Sherry (Boyd) Rozecki, grandsons Lane and Brandon of Riverton, MB; sons and daughters Gerry (Jane), William (Shelvy), Ji-ann (Don), Kathie, Chris (Karen), Rick (Karen), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Robert (Lenore), Leslie (Darlene); sisters Geraldine and Lillian. He was predeceased by his father and mother Gerry and Daisy Morrow; Uncle Des (Thelma) Morrow and Aunt Lil (Elmer) Foster. Don was born on March 15, 1933 in Winnipeg and was raised in Holland, MB and then moved to Winnipeg. He worked as an auto and heavy machinery mechanic. Don enjoyed auto racing at the Brooklands Speedway and the Circuit in Manitoba and United States. Many trips were taken in his homemade motor homes over the years. His love of fishing brought him together with his family at Lake St. George, MB where he shared his love of the outdoors with them. As per Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of 3 East at Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care if arrangements.
