MAE MUIRHEAD February 22, 1925 - July 7, 2008 It is with great sadness and great love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mae Muirhead. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, who is overjoyed to be with her again and giving her those hugs she missed so much. Left to miss her but cherish her lessons in love are her seven - Adele Pronchuk; Penny (Harv) Oliver; Wendy Muirhead; Dave (Jennifer) Muirhead; Bill (Cindy) Muirhead; Trudy (John) Yu; and her special girl Robin Muirhead. She was also cherished and adored by her seven grandchildren Angie (Randy) MacDonald; Kristy Comeau; Ashley Shpak; Jade, Alex and Julia Yu; Ariel Muirhead and her three great-grandchildren Brady, Christian and Jesse MacDonald. Mae will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law and forever friend Val Ring and numerous nieces and nephews. We were blessed to grow up under the wings of an angel. Mom was kind, gentle and selfless. She lived her life with no enemies, no regrets and no amends to make. Mom was the perfect example of tenderness and strength and carried her family through life with her loving heart and quiet strength. To know her was a gift, but to have had her as a mother was a miracle. We could have asked for no better parents, and Mom's legacy is a family that loves and supports one another unconditionally, just as she showed us unconditional love every day of our lives. Mom, we will continue to be a strength to one another, just as you raised us. We love you forever and always. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital for their tender care of Mom, and Dr. Rowland Hayward for the care, support and friendship he's shown through the years. A special we love you to Gary Sowa and Michael Blake, who loved our Mom very much. The family sends out our sympathies to all of you who never knew our dear Mom. Your loss is truly greater than ours. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday (today), July 10 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mae may be made to the Firefighter's Burn Fund, 303 - 83 Garry Street, R3C 4J9. Neil Bardal Inc. 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
