SHEILA HARRIET BLAND 1949 - 2008 On Monday, July 7, 2008 Sheila, daughter of Isobel Bland (nee Peterson) of Winnipeg and of the late Edward R. Bland of Edmonton, died at the Grace Hospital at the age of 59 years. Remaining to forever cherish Sheila's memory are her brother John and wife Laura (Dallas, Texas); nephew Michael and his mother Rosemary (Burlington, Ont.); long-time friends Susanne Palmer (Toronto) and Adrian and Patricia van Noort (Whitemouth, Man.) as well as her aunts, uncle and cousins. Born in Edmonton, Sheila moved to Winnipeg and went to school at River Heights and Kelvin High. She attended university in Toronto, returning to Winnipeg in 1972. She recently completed 15 years of employment with PPG Phillips, Sheila loved reading, music, painting, photography and enjoyed live theatre. In compliance with the family's wishes a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family thanks the staff of the Grace Hospital for their care and consideration. Sheila's mother resides at apartment 225-495 Stradbrook Avenue.
