MARY BODAK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our grandmother Mary Bodak on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Luther Home. Left to cherish her memory is her granddaughter Marilyn and her husband Jamie Hill; great-grandson Nicholas Hill of Winnipeg; grandson Ronald Loch and great-granddaughter Tabrina of Toronto. Mary was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Bodak; daughter Rose Loch; son-in-law Frank Loch and other relatives and friends. Mary was born on February 2, 1909 in the Ukraine. She left home in 1927 to come to Canada. In 1929 she met Nicholas Bodak and they were married on August 10. They had one daughter, Rose. Mary loved embroidering, gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family. In 2004 Mary moved into Luther Home, which she loved. Mary will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank everyone at Luther Home for welcoming her into your home and taking such good care of her. She enjoyed living there.
