KRISTIN (STINA) BJARNASON With sadness we announce the death of our wonderful Aunty Stina, aged 92 years, of Gimli, MB. on July 9, 2008 at the Betel Home in Gimli, MB. Stina was predeceased by her husband Finni, parents Helga and Ingolfur Palsson, brothers Palli and Bessi and sisters Freida and Emily. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Stina grew up at Hecla, MB. and lived there with her husband for several years prior to moving to Gimli. She was a very talented and intelligent lady. She was well read, with emphasis on spirituality, meditation and philosophy. Her positive outlook on life was remarkable. She was also a natural born mother. Although she had no children of her own, she was a care giver to many children over the years and they flourished under her tender loving care. She will be missed by all who knew her. No funeral by request. Burial and a family graveside service to be held at a later date at Hecla. Thanks to the doctors and staff at Betel for all their wonderful care over the past two years.
