Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLARRY HUGH COCHRANE May 22, 1953 July 7, 2008 Suddenly on July 7, 2008 in Hay River, NWT our beloved brother and uncle, Larry Hugh Cochrane passed away. Larry worked seasonally in Hay River for many years, and would return to his home community of Fisher River Cree Nation for the winter months. Larry was raised in Winnipeg where he attended school, graduating from Tech Voc High School. He worked for over 25 years for Fresh Water Fisheries in Winnipeg, and in Hay River, NWT. Larry shared a close and loving relationship with his brothers, sisters and all of his nieces and nephews. He shared many laughs with them. We will miss his phone calls, his regular visits, his sense of humor, his caring attitude, and his ready smile. He was especially fond of the babies, Beedoshii and Brody. Larry is survived by his brothers, Clifford (Margie), Alex, Harold (Agnes); his sisters, Judy (Harry) Delorme, Agnes (Howard) Clemons; brother-in-law Paul Murdock; 11 nieces; seven nephews, and numerous grandnieces and nephews. Larry also leaves many close friends, too numerous to mention. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Florence Cochrane; brother Alvin; and sister Charlotte Murdock. A wake service, in Larry's memory, will take place Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service to be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Fisher River United Church with Rev. John McKay officiating. The family would like to thank Fisher River Cree Nation Chief and Council, Rev. John McKay and friends of the family who gave us the much needed support during this difficult time. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC. In care of arrangements. Fisher Branch, MB (204) 372-6271 or 372-6803
