ANTOINETTE PAKAY (nee BREAULT) Peacefully, with family at her side, Antoinette passed away on Friday, July 11, 2008 at Foyer Valade at the age of 85 years. Antoinette leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Georges (Gisela), Daniel (Helga), Rose (Enrico), Geraldine (Oscar), Albert (Verna Mae); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanne Breault, Simone Morin and Audrey Rogers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Julius and her daughter Shirley. Antoinette was born on March 9, 1923 in Ste. Agathe, MB and was raised in the St. Adolphe area. She married Julius in 1943 and lived in Winnipeg where they raised their family on Furby Street. Antoinette always said the best time of her life was raising her children. Her children remember her as a loving and caring person and their childhood memories are of a home filled with laughter, warmth and love. Caring for her family and others came very naturally and her home was a special place for everyone. Upon their retirement Antoinette and Julius spent more of their time at their cottage in Silver Falls, MB. and also enjoyed traveling extensively. The family wishes to thank the staff at Foyer Valade for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street, with viewing at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Burial will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
