PATRICIA (PAT) BARBARA FRANKLIN (nee WILSON) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pat on Monday, July 14, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 64 years. Pat is lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Kenneth (Ken), her children Tamara, Jason (Pam), Karen and Shannon (Michel) Levac, grandchildren Randy, Racheal, Chloe, Emma and Gabriel, sisters Bonnie Wilson and Wendy (Tom) Schnerch, brothers Gordon and Brian (Ellen), brothers and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and her cherished dog Pumpkin. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Elsie Wilson. Pat was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother (nanny) who enjoyed spending summers with her family and friends at the cottage in Falcon Lake. Her many pastimes and joys included taking time to volunteer for various activities with her children at Bertrun E. Glavin and Valley Gardens Community Club, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, baking, long walks with Ken and Pumpkin, bowling, knitting, needle point, camping and traveling. The family wishes to thank the staff of CancerCare Manitoba, Breast Health Centre and the entire staff of 5B and 6A at the St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street, officiated by Campbell McIntyre.
