Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN KOCHEN (78, WINNIPEG) It is with deep sadness that Jean's family announce her peaceful passing in the Grace Hospital July 14, 2008 after a brief illness. Born in Kirkfield, Manitoba, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Barnabas Findlay. She is survived by her children, Bruce (Diana), Winnipeg, Janice Keam (Reg), Niverville, David (Melanie), Nova Scotia, Glen (Irene), Nova Scotia as well as her eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Jean was looking forward to the upcoming birth of her newest great-grandchild. She was predeceased by husband Bill and sister Doreen Stevenson. A memorial service will take place at 12:30 p.m., Friday, July 18 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A private family burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital for their compassion and kindness during Jean's illness.
