HELENA WIEBE 1921 - 2008 On Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Helen Wiebe aged 86 years of Winkler, MB went to her eternal rest. She was born in R.M. of Rhineland to Jacob and Katherine (nee Penner) Wiebe. Helen taught for several years in Fisher Branch, MB, before going into LPN nursing in 1955. She worked at the Children's Hospital, in Morris and also at Bethel Hospital in Winkler. She loved her hometown of Winkler and her enthusiasm showed as she carried on her work with Child Evangelism Fellowship when she moved back here. Following her retirement, Helen also worked alongside friends at the Lions Manor and Friendship Centre preparing lunches and faspa. She is survived by one sister, Tena Penner of the Salem Home. She was predeceased by both parents; sister, Sara and twin brothers, Jack and Hank. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler EMM Church, 600 Southview Dr. Interment to follow at Rudnerweide Cemetery.
