Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS DOROTHY ADAM Phyllis Dorothy Adam, Parksville, BC (formerly of Stonewall, MB.) Phyllis Adam, born December 13, 1918, quietly passed away, Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Qualicum Manor, Qualicum Beach, BC. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Henry; parents, Reginald and Dorothy Brown, and her brother Richard Brown. She is survived by her sister Bernice Stanbrook, North Vancouver. Nephews, Raymond and Rod Stanbrook; nieces Bonnie Evans, Norma Merrett and Linda Brown, Cousins, Leonard, Ray and Beryl Davidson. Phyllis and Henry lived in the Stonewall area for many years and retired to Vancouver Island in 1983. Phyllis, had a very fulfilling career as a nurse and retired from the Manitoba Cancer Foundation, St. Boniface General Hospital. Phyllis was friend to everyone she met, and she especially cherished her friend, Phyllis Kuhn. Special thanks to the Nursing and Health Care staff at Qualicum Manor for their outstanding care. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Parksville Legion, Parksville, BC, Saturday, August 16, 2008.
