Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISOBEL ALBERTA (EVANS) PRICE It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Isobel Price on July 16, 2008 at Seven Oaks Hospital. She is survived by her son Don (Donna); grandchildren, Wendy (Ross Dudek and great-grandson Lukas) and Steven; sisters Marion Murray and Marj Renwick. She was predeceased by her husband Stan in 2003, her son Jim in 1963 and her sister Jenn Cunnington in 2000. Isobel, the daughter of Albert and Ellen Evans was born in Argyle on August 15, 1921. She married Stan in 1940. They lived briefly in Winnipeg before moving to Fort William for four years and in 1945 they moved back to Warren. In 1957 they bought the Harry Price Farm and together they settled into farm life and community activities. Isobel was very involved in the Women's Institute work and was a life member. She was also a life member of the Warren Curling Club. She served 38 years in the Warren United Church Sunday School. Isobel was a passionate gardener; abundant plants, flowers and garden produce were always a joy to be shared in their home. Interment will take place at Warren Cemetery on Monday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall on Monday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of your choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
