SOPHIE BOYCHUK (KUZ) Suddenly on Sunday, July 13, 2008, Sophie Boychuk, aged 95, passed away at her home. Sophie was born on May 7, 1913 in Winnipeg. She was employed with the Hudson Bay Company, and retired in 1978. Sophie was a member of the Hudson Bay Company Retiree Club. Sophie enjoyed crocheting, knitting and baking. Her memory will live on in our hearts, love never dies. Sophie was pre-deceased by her husband John in 1973, parents Wasyl and Rozalia Kuz, two brothers, Michael and Nicholas, and sister Mary (Min) Harrow. Sophie leaves to cherish her memory sister Anne and husband George Shaw, of Windsor, ON, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1161C Fife St. Officiating will be Rev. Deacon Walter Knysh. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery.
